Who's calling who a commie?

 Have you noticed that “Snoozy D” has frequently called Democrats “communists”, lately?

Dozens of times in recent weeks, in fact.

Following recent local and state primary victories by progressive and Democratic Socialist candidates, Trump has explicitly labeled them as “commies”, or worse yet, “hardcore, godless, communists”.  For example, he publicly labeled Michigan progressive Abdul El-Sayed a “communist” following his primary victory.

You know what? I’m thinking that our “stable genius” doesn’t really know what the word communism means.  He just spits it out as a scare tactic to incite his MAGA chumps, figuring they don’t know what it means, either.

Clearly, Democrats and even prominent Democratic Socialists do not support actual communist ideals, such as the total abolition of private property or state control over all industries.

The irony is Trump frequently uses his own versions of communist name-calling against Democrats while his own administration has simultaneously acquired government equity stakes in private companies. Hmmm?

The U.S. government now holds equity stakes in 30 private companies, up from zero just over a year ago. In some cases, the U.S. government is the largest stakeholder, as is the case with Intel, who received $8.9 billion in defense grants to fund its semiconductor factories.  In exchange, the U.S. government received a 9.9% equity stake. Other notable companies where the U.S. government holds significant equity positions include U.S. Steel, IBM, Lithium Americas Corp., Trilogy Metals, and GlobalFoundaries.

Let’s not forget that state control over the “means of production” is a core tenet of communism.
