Today’s White House Headline: President Trump Delivers Largest Prescription Drug Price Drop in Over 60 Years!

I ask.  Why such false pretense?  

While this Trump administration has taken credit for the released data just this morning, independent analyses indicate that Biden-era policies are actually the primary drivers behind the statistical decline.

Industry analysts like Kaiser Family Foundation, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, note that the WH claim leaves out one big contributing factor.  It was Biden’s 2022 Inflation Reduction Act which negotiated lower Medicare price points and implemented price caps on major drugs that actually played a more significant role in driving down prescription drug costs.
