So, Snoozy, You Wanna Pick a Fight with Canada?

Trump’s penchant for trying to stick it to Canada is backfiring just like his consequential “war of choice” with Iran.

This is what happens when you make the village idiot the president of the village.

We’re not going to itemize each stroke of madness, but on August 22, “Snoozy D”, initiated 50% tariffs on roughly $20 billion worth of Canadian goods. Further targeted import bans are scheduled for September 15, September 29, and January 1, 2027.

Just as an example, let’s look at Snoozy’s ineptitude, as it relates to his threat to ban Bombardier Canadian Jet sales in the U.S., unless the company moves its manufacturing operation to America.

Consequences be damned!!!

Never mind that corporate America represents Bombardier’s largest customer market. Or his Truth Social boast that he could simply “decertify” Bombardier jets, seemingly clueless to the fact that aircraft certification is handled by the FAA based on specific safety standards.

And here’s more mind-numbing consequences.

Bombardier utilizes 40% of U.S. manufactured parts and services with over 50% of the airplane’s value made up of American made parts.  And let’s not forget Bombardier’s 3,500 American workers, 3 primary manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance facilities across “red” states, like Texas, Florida, and Kansas.

See what I mean? The man acts on reckless impulse. No consideration for the impact of his half-baked decisions.  And what’s even worse, eunuchs like Bessent and Lutnick, just stand behind him, nodding their empty heads.

In the meantime, Canada is not just sitting around.  While Snoozy is posting memes on Truth Social dressed in hockey gear, Mark Carney is aggressively pivoting Canada's trade strategy away from its reliance on the American market.

Just in the last 6 months, Canada has already held successful face-to-face meetings to establish expanded free trade and comprehensive strategic partnerships with the EU, Japan, South Korea, and China. All ending with signed, sealed, and delivered outcomes.

Some might believe all of this will simply return to normal after Trump gets shit-canned.

Nope!!!  It will take years, if not decades.
