PROJECT 2025 - MAGA's Blueprint - READ IT!!!

✕ Thomas J. Raleigh · October 9, 2026 · 2 min read

The problem I’m having with this administration is not just about their unworkable policies. It’s the amount of brainwashing that has taken over the dumbed down portion of the United States and seems to be taking hold.

Democracy only works with an educated population, but a sizable portion of the country is still buying into endless lies from the most prolific group of con artists in America history.

That scares me.

I fear if we don’t band together and wise up, and I mean everybody, Republicans and Democrats alike, it could take years to recover what this country was founded upon.

One interesting development this past week caught me a little off guard. The series of national “state media” like ads that aired coast-to coast.

The ads I’m referring to were more than a little over the top. First, they appeared both Saturday and Sunday on FOX Sports during both college and NFL football games which was odd enough. They also aired on FOX News Sunday, Saturday Night Live, and Newsmax.

In a nutshell, to the tune of “Love Me” playing in the background, the $20M ads, not including air-time, feature Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth declaring a “final battle” against political enemies.  Over a montage of footage, Trump’s voiceover vows to “demolish the deep state,” rout the “fake news media,” and liberate America by “casting out the communists, Marxists, and fascists”. One ad concludes with the audio from UFC President, Dana White, describing Trump as fighting hard “for the country he loves”.

With all this “call-to arms” rhetoric played during half-times of football games, what’s the intent, do you think?  What about the fact that the ads were originally touted as “paid for by the U.S. government?”

Are these classified as “political” ads, given we’re only weeks from the mid-terms? Why are we taxpayers paying for MAGA political ads?  Don’t know about you, but this doesn’t sit well with me. And, I sure as hell don’t want my tax dollars used in this fashion.  A day after the president said his super PAC would pay for the ads, which had drawn bipartisan backlash, officials said that he meant moving forward. A new taxpayer-funded ad aired Tuesday.

Maybe both sides of the political spectrum need to call time-out, join forces, and start talking about this stuff.

Especially when you consider that MAGA’s Project 2025 “blueprint” for things we’re already seeing was designed specifically for right-wing, “conservative leadership”, to exert complete control over the federal government.

Read Project 2025!  This isn’t a drill.

Granted, Project 2025 does not specifically call for creating a “state media” network, but tell that to the people that launched Trump TV, last week.  An unfiltered, administration controlled, round-the clock, YouTube broadcast attacking political enemies, and featuring Trump’s “greatest hit parade”.

It, too, was originally set up as taxpayer funded entity.  Thankfully, there’s been lots of high-level Republican led pushback!

And, if that’s not cause for concern, remember that Trump already signed two Executive Orders. The first, defunded PBS and NPR domestic public news outlets. The second placed international broadcasting agencies, Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, and Radio Free Asia under MAGA political control with layoffs and grant cancellations. Trump’s reason: “partisan news counterproductive to American priorities”.  Voice of America is currently undergoing expensive, court mandated efforts to rebuild its heavily dismantled organization.

Project 2025 also advocates eliminating permanent workspace areas and limiting independent press corps access on White House grounds.

Exactly what happened in late September when Trump banned several networks and print media from White House access!

You can ring up the score the way you see it.

To me, these are points scored for government-controlled media.
