I'm Confused!!!
If all of what Pete Hegseth says is true, why does our President need to slink around in a food service truck, and play golf flanked by missile defense systems?
Dating back to March, Hegseth, has repeatedly stated that Iran’s military had been depleted and decimated.
March 13 — “Never before has a modern, capable military, which Iran used to have, been so quickly destroyed and made combat ineffective,” Hegseth said during a press briefing with reporters.
March 16 — At a separate press briefing: Hegseth stated, “We're shooting down and destroying what missiles they still have in stock, but more importantly, ensuring that they have no ability to make more. Their production lines, their military plants, their defense innovation centers: defeated.”
April 8 — At a Pentagon press briefing: Hegseth declares that “the Iran military had been decimated”. “It has been rendered combat ineffective for years to come”. He later expanded on the scale of the victory, saying, “By any measure, Epic Fury decimated Iran’s military… CENTCOM, using less than 10% of America’s total combat power, dismantled one of the world's largest militaries.”
July 21 – Before a Congressional hearing: Hegseth stood by his earlier assessments that Iran's “missile program is functionally destroyed. Launchers, production facilities, and existing stockpiles depleted and decimated, and almost completely ineffective.”
July 21 – In response to Senator Jon Ossoff: “We're shooting down and destroying what missiles they still have in stock, but more importantly, ensuring that they have no ability to make more. Their production lines, their military plants, their defense innovation centers: defeated.”
