Trump’s Legacy: The Normalization of Ignorance…

One thing we should have learned by now.  Political leadership does more than enact policy. It establishes certain standards of conduct. When cruelty, dishonesty, and humiliation are deemed acceptable at the highest level, these things become normalized. They do not remain confined to politics—they become permissive, and attract the ignorant.

This is how normalization works.
