# There’s Dumb – Then There’s MAGA DUMB!

So as not to get confused, that’s D-U-M-B. You know, like Snoozy tries hard to explain, “DUM with a B”.

This Tommy Tuberville guy gets my very 1st “MAGA DUMB AWARD” He was my MAGA Stooge of the Week, last month, but I see he’s dropped a few rungs on the smart ladder since then.

A couple of qualifiers to consider, first. As a former college head football coach, he was rather inconsequential, abandoning two teams, forced out by two others. He had no notable accomplishments as the Republican U.S. Senator for Alabama, either

So, it stands to reason that he would qualify as Alabama’s Republican Candidate for Governor.

Just a couple of quotes on the campaign trail …

On descendants of enslaved people: “They’re not soft on crime. They’re pro-crime. They want crime. They want crime because they want to take over what you got. They want to control what you have. They want reparations because they think the people that do the crime are owed that. Bullshit! They are not owed that.”

On Muslims: “Islam is not a religion. It's a death cult. “If you pray to the Quran, the Quran says to kill all infidels.” “You don't fit in the United States of America. We’re a Christian country.”

On Transgender people: “I want to be clear about this gender confusion. It is not normal. It is a cry for help, and our society needs to stop affirming people who are suffering from this mental illness”. “The U. S. should bring back mental institutions”. “I am against this transgender, guys turning into women, and winning all these state championships all over the country”.

On Airline Industry employees: “What’s more concerning is that this furry community touts the fact that many – listen to this – that many airline pilots, flight attendants, and air traffic controllers are part of the furry community. Lord help us. It’s possible that the pilot flying your plane could have a deranged fetish of dressing up like an animal. You can’t make this up”.

And so, my congratulations to Tommy Tuberville on taking home Nuff Sed’s 1st “MAGA DUMB” award. 

As fellow Alabaman, Forrest Gump, would say, “stupid is as stupid does”.
