Can’t wait to hear MAGA’s response on this one.

Here’s my understanding of your boy’s “diesel deal” with his puppeteer pal, Putin. You know, guy that invaded Ukraine 4 years ago, and currently provides Iran with real-time U.S. troop tracking intelligence, satellite surveillance, and highly sensitive missile expertise.

That guy!

Basically, the “deal” involves the U.S. waiving energy sanctions on Russia until April 2027 for tons of Russian diesel, presumably to ward off soaring U.S. fuel prices which have severely impacted sectors like U.S. trucking, commerce, and agriculture.

Okay, increase the supply, I get it. And just ahead of the midterm elections, for some odd reason. Why not sooner?

Will talk about that, later.

If you’ve been following, Trump posted the specific metric ton levels of his Russian diesel “deal” on *Truth Social*, Friday.

After a "highly successful discussion" with Vladimir Putin, he goes on to say, Russia would release “over 300,000 tons of diesel immediately, 500,000 tons in November, 1 million tons immediately thereafter, and an additional 3 million tons pending the operating condition of Russian refineries”.

Again, his “deal” extends until April 2027.

---

Where do I start?

Pretty easy to look up. Just the volumes of diesel alone are not very significant. The United States consumes approximately 3.6 million to 3.7 million barrels of diesel a day per the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Using Trump’s own posted numbers, the initial 300,000 tons will just about cover 15 hours of U.S. consumption. The 500,000 tons, he mentioned, will get us through one day. And the million tons will last two days, etc.

And if you recall, it wasn’t long ago that the Trump administration spent months threatening nations like India and China with severe tariffs for purchasing discounted Russian crude oil.

And this really pisses me off!!!

Aside from an egregious double standard that will likely weaken U.S. moral and diplomatic credibility abroad., The U.S. will now be filling Russia’s war chest with $7 billion more bucks to continue their attacks on Ukraine. You remember Ukraine. They were once an ally and buffer against the Putin regime.

---

In the end, this “deal” will have little to no meaningful impact on consumer prices at the pump, it’s a short-term political play designed to fool his stupid following into thinking he is working hard to solve our fuel crises and buy a few votes.

"I've made a lot of deals . . . I know deals, I think, better than anybody knows deals".

 **VOTE IN NOVEMBER!!!**

NUFF SED!!!
